With Easter coming up, Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council are inviting children across our community to take part in a fun Easter Egg Design Competition — and we would love to see the amazing creativity of our young people on display!
Children can collect a FREE Easter Egg template from the Co-op in Burry Port, then design their most colourful, imaginative Easter egg. It could be bright patterns, spring flowers, favourite characters, or something completely unique — the more creative the better!
There are three prize categories: -
• Ages 3–5• Ages 6–9
• Ages 10–13Each winner will receive a FREE chocolate Easter egg, kindly supplied by the Co-op Burry Port — a big thank you to them for supporting this community event.
Important: -
Please return completed designs to the Town Council Office by 24th March. And there’s something extra special…The winning designs will appear on the Friendship Square digital screen during the Easter half-term, giving our young artists their moment in the spotlight for the whole community to enjoy! This is a great chance for children to get creative and for families to enjoy a little Easter fun together.

• Tag someone who has a young artist at home
• Encourage your child to take part
• And when they finish their design, share a photo in the comments — we’d love to see them! Let’s fill Burry Port with colourful Easter creativity!
