As we approach the Easter period, I wanted to share an important service update to help residents plan ahead and avoid any missed collections. Carmarthenshire County Council has confirmed that waste and recycling collection days will be temporarily revised over the Easter bank holiday period to ensure services continue to operate efficiently.

🗓️ What this means

Residents should be aware that their usual collection day may:

  • Take place earlier than scheduled, or
  • Be delayed by a day or more

A full revised timetable is included in the graphic above, and I would strongly encourage everyone to check their specific collection date.

♻️ What’s included

The revised arrangements apply to:

  • General waste collections
  • Recycling collections
  • Hygiene and nappy waste
  • Garden waste

📌 A quick reminder

Taking a moment to check your updated collection day will help avoid missed bins and any inconvenience during the Easter period. This update is being shared simply to keep residents informed of wider local service changes.
