A Flood Alert has been issued at 14:45 today (18 February 2026) for the Carmarthenshire coastline between Pendine and Hendy, including areas east of Llanelli.

The alert follows a forecasted combination of high tides and unsettled weather conditions over the coming days. As a result, flooding of low‑lying land and some coastal roads is expected. Residents and visitors are advised to take extra care on beaches, coastal footpaths, roads, and areas close to the estuary.

Authorities will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed. Stay cautious during this period and report any concerns or emerging issues so they can be passed on to the relevant teams.

Further updates will be shared as more information becomes available.Find out more...https://flood-warning.naturalresources.wales/.../102WABT03 Cllr. Michael Thomas 07852174186www.councillormichaelthomas.comwww.tiktok.com/@cllrmichaelthttps://www.instagram.com/cllrmichaelt/
