The Hywel Dda University Health Board is inviting residents across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire to take part in a Public Survey on Community Pharmacy Services.

This survey will help update the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) — a key document that looks at: -

Where pharmacies (“chemists”) are located;

 How far people have to travel What services are offered.

 Whether current provision truly meets community needs.

Your feedback will directly inform decisions about whether pharmacies are in the right places and providing the right services — now and in the future. The survey is anonymous Takes around 10 minutes to complete Closes 9 March 2026 (responses after this date won’t be included) Results will be published in a draft PNA in Autumn 2026.

If you have questions about the survey: -

Community pharmacies play a vital role — from prescriptions and advice to minor ailment support and preventative health services. If you use a local pharmacy, care about access to healthcare, or have ever struggled with travel or appointment availability, this is your opportunity to speak up.

I’d really encourage residents across our area to take part and ensure our local voice is heard.https://www.haveyoursay.hduhb.wales.nhs.uk/Cllr. Michael Thomas 07852174186www.councillormichaelthomas.com
