Fantastic news  — the brand-new hydrotherapy pool at Canolfan Pentre Awel is now officially open to NHS patients, with access for Actif members from Monday, 2 March. This is a major step forward for health, wellbeing and rehabilitation services in our area.

This facility is the result of years of hard work, partnership and community commitment — a collaboration between Carmarthenshire County Council, Hywel Dda University Health Board, and the incredible fundraising efforts of local charities including the Llanelli Hydrotherapy Pool Committee, the Elizabeth Williams Endowment, Treat Trust Wales, and support from the Welsh Government.

Their dedication has turned a long-held community dream into a reality. What the Hydrotherapy Pool Offers.

This purpose-built facility provides warm-water therapeutic treatment designed to help with: -
