There is some exciting news for community groups, charities, social enterprises, heritage organisations, tourism providers, and Town and Community Councils across Carmarthenshire.
Carmarthenshire County Council has launched a new £1 million Heritage, Tourism and Culture Fund, designed to support projects that celebrate our county's rich history, culture, and unique identity while helping to strengthen the local economy.
Grants of between £25,000 and £100,000 are available for projects that can:
Improve visitor experiences
Enhance heritage and cultural facilities
Restore or bring heritage assets back into use
Develop tourism infrastructure and trails
Improve accessibility and inclusion
Extend the tourism season and attract more visitors
Support digital improvements and interpretation projects
This funding represents a fantastic opportunity to invest in the places, stories, traditions, and attractions that make Carmarthenshire such a special place to live, work, and visit. Whether it's enhancing a local heritage site, improving community facilities, creating new visitor experiences, or developing projects that celebrate our culture, this fund could help turn great ideas into reality.
