A very warm thank you to everyone who braved the weather and popped in to see me at my monthly surgery this morning. It was genuinely lovely to chat with you all, and I’ll be taking forward every issue raised — and reporting back as always.
What really struck me today was the brilliant interaction between people. These surgeries aren’t just about speaking to me — they’re also a chance to catch up with neighbours, make new connections, and build exactly the kind of community spirit I hoped for when I first set them up.
Seeing that happen today was fantastic.
