A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event. Over 50 people came along to listen, learn, and share in our local history — and your presence made the evening truly memorable.
A huge diolch to the incredible volunteers from the Pembrey & Burry Port Heritage Group whose hard work made the lecture possible. Your dedication to preserving and celebrating our shared story is something our whole community benefits from.
We’re also deeply grateful to Jerusalem for kindly allowing us to hold the lecture in the vestry — a fitting and atmospheric setting for exploring such an important chapter in our past.
And of course, a sincere thank you to Graham Davies, multi‑published author, for crafting and delivering such an engaging and insightful talk. His knowledge and passion brought the 1904 Revival to life in a way that connected beautifully with our community’s own heritage.
Events like this remind us how rich our local history is — and how important it is that we continue to protect it, share it, and pass it on.
Thank you once again to everyone who gave their time to drop in, support the group, and celebrate our story together.
