It was an absolute pleasure to attend the recent Prize Evening at Ysgol Bryngwyn — and what a fantastic evening it was! 👏✨

As both a County Councillor and a School Governor, evenings like this are always a real highlight for me. They remind us exactly why we invest so much time, care and energy into supporting our young people.

Huge congratulations to every single student who received an award. 🏆 Your hard work, determination and commitment truly deserve to be celebrated. Whether your achievement was academic, sporting, creative or personal development, you should be incredibly proud of what you have accomplished. Success comes in many forms — and each one matters.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to the Headteacher, senior leadership team, teachers, support staff and governors who worked so hard behind the scenes to organise such a well-run and inspiring event. These evenings don’t just happen — they are the result of careful planning and a genuine commitment to celebrating young people’s achievements.

To the families and carers who were there to support — your encouragement and belief make all the difference.

Bryngwyn continues to demonstrate not only academic excellence, but also a strong sense of community, ambition and opportunity for its pupils. It was wonderful to see the pride in the room.

Well done everyone — the future is bright! 🌟
