It was a real pleasure to recently hand over a cheque to Elizabeth from CETMA on behalf of the Regeneration Committee Chair, Cllr. Kev Lewis, following CETMA’s successful application for grant funding support towards the 2026 Gooseberry Fair.
The funding will help support some of the key costs associated with the event, including hall hire, marquee hire, and the PA system — all important elements in helping to make the Gooseberry Fair another successful and enjoyable community occasion for everyone.
Community events like this play such an important role in bringing people together, supporting local organisations, celebrating local heritage, and creating opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy.
Very well done to everyone involved with CETMA, and I look forward to seeing the Gooseberry Fair continue to grow and thrive in 2026.
