Santa on a Bike contribution to SSAFA 22nd Jan 2026

A huge thank you to Bryan and Petra!

Tonight, I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan and Petra at their home to receive a cheque for £280 on behalf of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity – Southwest Wales Branch.

This fantastic donation comes from their brilliant work with “Santa on a Bike” – a joyful, community‑driven effort that brings Christmas magic to children across our local towns while raising money for good causes.

Bryan and Petra give their time completely voluntarily, travelling around Ammanford, Brynamman, Glanamman, Garnant, Llandybie, Llandovery, Llangadog, Llanelli and Cross Hands, delivering selection packs to children for just £8 each.

Every penny (apart from the cost of the selection box) goes straight into the charity pot.

Their dedication, kindness and community spirit are truly inspiring.

On behalf of everyone at SSAFA, thank you both so much — £280 is absolutely fantastic and will be put to great use supporting our wonderful Armed Forces community.

And who knows… with a bit of gentle persuasion, we’re hoping we might even tempt Santa on a Bike to make a special run through Pembrey and Burry Port for Christmas ’26.

Now wouldn't that would be something magical for our communities.

🎄❤️Diolch yn fawr, Bryan and Petra — you help keep the true spirit of Christmas alive all year round.
