I was really pleased, in my role as Deputy Chair of the Regeneration & Community Engagement Committee, to have the opportunity to present a cheque to Pembrey AFC on behalf of the Committee Chair, Cllr. Kevin Lewis.
Clubs like Pembrey AFC are at the heart of our community — bringing people together, supporting young players, and creating a real sense of pride locally. It’s fantastic to be able to support the ongoing work they do both on and off the pitch.
Grassroots sport plays such an important role in building stronger, healthier and more connected communities, and it’s always a pleasure to see that being recognised and supported.
