...Thank you to everyone who has been reporting issues around the garages. Your information continues to be really important, and I want to keep the community fully updated on what’s happening.

An ASB patrol attended the site yesterday evening, and their findings are set out below: -🔧 Garage SecuritySeven garages were identified with damaged or unsecured doors.

These will now be prioritised for boarding up to prevent unauthorised access and reduce opportunities for anti‑social behaviour.

🚗 Vehicles on SiteTwo vehicles were found that are untaxed/SORN or without MOT. These will be reported and progressed through the appropriate procedures.

🧹 Fly‑Tipping & Clean‑UpFly‑tipping was noted, including a sofa inside one of the garages. A clean‑up of the area will be scheduled to improve the condition of the site.

👮 Police PatrolsCCC continue to work closely with the Neighbourhood Policing Team, who have been asked to maintain patrols in the area given recent concerns and the history of issues at this location.

🔍 ASB TimingWhile no ASB was observed during the patrol, I fully accept that reported issues may not necessarily coincide with the time officers attended. Residents’ experiences remain valid, and your reports continue to guide the actions being taken.

🏗️ Long‑Term Future of the Site Demolition of the garage block is being actively considered due to its deteriorating condition.

I have asked Carmarthenshire County Council for more information on the timeframes being looked at and how the public consultation process will be carried out.

As soon as I have clarity, I will share it. Thank you again to everyone who continues to report concerns. Please keep doing so — it genuinely helps us take the right action for the community.
