I wanted to help highlight the fantastic work being undertaken by 4theRegion — an independent alliance helping to connect people, businesses, organisations, and communities right across South West Wales.

Sadly, these scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated, often targeting people through social media platforms, dating sites, and online messaging. Criminals create convincing fake identities and build trust over time before asking for money, investment help, emergency support, or even cryptocurrency transfers.

Very happy to help promote this fantastic community event! It’s always wonderful to see events like this bringing families, children, and the wider community together once again, and I’m really glad to see the Festival Crowning Disco back as part of this year’s celebrations.

The good news is that becoming an accredited Veteran Friendly GP Practice in Wales appears to be a relatively straightforward process through the programme supported by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW).Practices taking part receive specialist training and support around: Veterans’ health and wellbeing Understanding military service-related needs Supporting serving personnel, veterans, and families more effectively Promoting fair treatment, dignity, and respect.
