I’m pleased to say that Carmarthenshire Museum will open three newly developed galleries this spring, marking a significant milestone in the Museum’s ongoing redevelopment programme.
Commemorate Gallery Located in the Main Hall, this gallery will display the Museum’s collection of inscribed standing stones for the first time in more than six years. It will also include paintings of historical Carmarthenshire figures, Roman artefacts and updated interpretation of the Picton Monument frieze.
